Friday 26th
There was a feel of active migration today as Red Admirals seemed to be heading purposely through the Estate. A Painted Lady added to the mix.
Friday 19th
The excellent third generation of Wall continued with 11 on New Downs. Also present were seven Small Whites, one Green-veined White, eight Speckled Woods, 12 Red Admirals, three Peacocks, one Common Blue, three Small Heaths, one Small Copper, and three Clouded Yellows. Four Clouded Yellows were also on Prince's Beach.
Tuesday 16th
Nine Walls were on the track on RSPB Worth marshes today.
Tuesday 2nd
There were surprisingly numbers of butterflies around considering the heavy showers on and off all morning. Five each of Green-veined White and Small White were in Big Gully, a Wall was on the beach front, and Red Admirals and Peacocks were dotted around.
