As well as our conservation and monitoring work we aim to entertain and educate our members and the general public. To this end we hold weekly guided walks, birdwatching classes in the winter evenings, illustrated talks about wildlife near and far and educational courses.

Our activities are open to all. They are designed so that individuals come along to one off talks, walks or classes, but most people soon become regulars.
Members Trips & Holidays. We often organise day trips and longer stays away with a focus on birdwatching and wildlife to raise funds for our charity.
Guided birdwatching walks every Sunday morning, Thursday evenings in the summer & stay tuned for news of walks for other taxa such as Wildflowers, Bats & Fungi.
Wednesday evenings in the autumn/winter. You are welcome to join us to learn about all aspects of natural history.
Thursday evenings in the autumn/winter. A series of illustrated talks from guest speakers with a wildlife theme.

Enter your wildlife photography and exhibit your entries at our Field Centre. The prints will be judged by visitors to the exhibition.
