We are very excited to announce that our successful application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of Ā£99,500 has been spent and the wonderful new scrape is there for all to see and use.
With your incredible support, a grant from the Banister Trust, a donation from Royal St. George's Golf Club and the grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we raised over Ā£250,000.
This means that we have achieved the first of our targets - we bought the land and created an enlarged wetland for wildlife. But there is still much to do... the resource needs to be maintained, constantly monitored and improved!
