Wednesday 30th
The BMS Transect on the Estate produced 237 butterflies of 14 species including ten Walls. Another eight Walls were on RSPB Worth marshes.
Monday 28th
Seven Clouded Yellows were on New Downs and one on the Estate.
Friday 25th
After a week of mostly wet weather there was decent activity on the Estate today. Five Walls were taking advantage of the nice conditions and there were over a hundred Peacock caterpillars by the Haven.
Thursday 17th
A SWALLOWTAIL was seen on Prince's Beach in the afternoon.
Thursday 10th
On RSPB Worth Marshes there were two Commas, ten Red Admirals, ten Peacocks, six Wall Browns, and a Brimstone.
Wednesday 9th
There were 511 Butterflies recording on a BMS Transect of the Estate with nearly half being Gatekeeper. Small Whites continued their good showing with 135 noted, three Brown Argus were seen, and a single Large Skipper.
Tuesday 1st
A total of 465 Butterflies were noted on BMS Transect. Meadow Browns lead the way with 114 and there was an increase in Gatekeepers with 37 noted.
