In addition to recording the birds and other wildlife in our recording area, SBBOT also has a field centre with offices for staff and volunteers, accommodation for visitors, and many other facilities.
Our field centre welcomes visitors daily. People can make a cup of tea in our kitchen, browse the shop, quietly study in the library, and take part in a wide range of activities. We also have clean and comfortable bedrooms for those wishing to stay over and meeting rooms can be hired for relevant purposes. There is also a mobility scooter for hire for those who need it.
