Another Lesser Emperor was on Restharrow Scrape whilst a distant 'red darter' was presumably Red-veined, but unconfirmed.

Wednesday 27th

Our first Lesser Emperor was in the Dragonfly Ponds.

Tuesday 26th

After a few weeks of cold conditions and only minimal Odonata it was a reversal in the scorching conditions today. A wander along the North Stream from the entrance of Royal St George's Golf Club all the way to Roaring Gutter revealed 76 Banded Demoiselles, one Dainty Damselfly, four Azure Damselflies, five Variable Damselflies, 51 Common Blue Damselflies, 160 Blue-tailed Damselflies, eight Red-eyed Damselflies, 11 Hairy Dragonflies, seven Emperors, two Four-spotted Chasers, one Broad-bodied Chaser, and one Norfolk Hawker.

Monday 25th

Our first Common Darters were out on the Estate and RSPB Worth Marshes.

Sunday 10th

Five Scarce Blue-tailed Damselflies and four Dainty Damselflies were on the Estate.

Thursday 7th

Our first nine Dainty Damselflies and earliest ever Red-eyed Damselfly were on the Estate and a Large Red Damselfly in the Haven was a scarce record away from their Worth stronghold. Over on New Downs there was our first Four-spotted Chaser.

Tuesday 5th

One Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly, ten Blue-tailed Damselflies, and two Common Blue Damselflies were around the Dragonfly Pond on the Estate.

Friday 1st

Sunny conditions on New Downs produced at least five Hairy Dragonflies and an Azure Damselfly.
