Wednesday 21st

Our first Large Skipper was in the Dragonfly Fields.

Tuesday 20th

There were 13 species on the Estate. Totals of 16 Common Blue, six Painted Lady, five Walls, and 15 Small Heaths were of note.

Saturday 17th

Good tallies of 11 Brown Argus and 60 Common Blue were on New Downs, with three each of Painted Lady and Small Copper.

Wednesday 14th

There were 53 butterflies of 11 species on the BMS Transect on the Estate. Most numerous was Small Heath with 24, followed by Common Blue with seven.

Monday 12th

Eight Walls, one Painted Lady, eight Red Admirals, one Peacock, three Speckled Woods, eight Common Blues, two Brown Argus, three Small Coppers, seven Small Heaths, one Green-veined White, three Orange-tips, and three Large Whites were on the Estate.

Friday 9th

Another female Brimstone was on the Estate and our first Brown Argus appeared.

Monday 5th

Two Painted Ladies were on RSPB Worth marshes.

Friday 2nd

A female Brimstone on the Estate was of note.

Thursday 1st

Eight Walls were on RSPB Worth marshes.
