Saturday 29th
Four Scarce Chasers, five Norfolk Hawkers, and 36 Banded Demoiselles were on Worth whilst the Red-veined Darter and Lesser Emperors were still on Restharrow Scrape.
Friday 28th
Two Lesser Emperors and a Red-veined Darter were on Restharrow Scrape, both firsts for the year. Singles of Norfolk Hawker and a Southern Emerald Damselfly, and 41 Ruddy Darters, were the Point too.
Thursday 27th
The first Small Red-eyed Damselflies were seen around the Observatory ponds.
Wednesday 26th
Black-tailed Skimmers are becoming more prevalent now with double-figures on Restharrow Scrape. Singles of Norfolk and Southern Migrant Hawker were also on the Estate again.
Monday 24th
A good count on RSPB Worth marshes produced 17 Banded Demoiselles, one Red Eyed Damselfly, 13 Black-tailed Skimmers, two Emperors, seven Scarce Chasers, one four-spotted Chaser, six Norfolk Hawker, five Common Darters, two Ruddy Darters, and at least 85 'darter sp'.
Thursday 20th
A Southern Migrant Hawker was in Waldershare Gully.
Wednesday 19th
At least 110 Dainty Damselflies were out today for the last guided walks of the year. Thank you to everyone who came along. Four Emerald Damselflies and a Southern Migrant Hawker were also seen.
Monday 17th
A productive wander on the Estate produced an impressive nine Norfolk Hawkers, plus a Banded Demoiselle, 32 Common Darters, three Ruddy Darters, two Southern Migrant Hawkers, five four-spotted Chasers, and three Black-tailed Skimmers.

Saturday 15th
It was hard work in the gale force winds and rain but everyone who came along to the Dainty Damselfly walks left very happy. At least 30 were seen during the day, plus a Norfolk Hawker was in The Elms.
Thursday 13th
Three Norfolk Hawkers and a Banded Demoiselle were on the Estate.
Sunday 9th
Our first Southern Migrant Hawker was photographed in The Elms. Another earliest-ever record.
Saturday 8th
A Southern Emerald Damselfly was a surprise find on the Estate.
Wednesday 5th
Four Common Darters were on RSPB Worth marshes.
Tuesday 4th
Three Emperors were on the Estate and 12 Ruddy Darters at the Point, the latter were our earliest ever records (by over a week!).
Monday 3rd
At least 300 Dainty Damselflies were out today.
