Tuesday 15th
After a gap of a few months it was some surprise to see a freshly emerged immature Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly on the Dragonfly Pools before the rain set in.
Friday 11th
On the Green Wall three Southern Migrant Hawkers, a Brown Hawker, two Scarce Chasers, and a Banded Demoiselle were on display along the river. A Willow Emerald Damselfly was new for the year along the edge of the Great Wood on RSPB Worth Marshes.
Thursday 10th
RSPB Worth Marshes held eight Emperor Dragonflies, six Brown Hawkers, two Norfolk Hawkers, 12 Black-tailed Skimmers, four Ruddy Darters and ten Common Darters.
Wednesday 9th
A Southern Hawker was in The Elms. Elsewhere on The Estate was a male Southern Migrant Hawker, two Migrant Hawkers, two Brown Hawkers and four Common Darters.
Tuesday 8th
An Emperor Dragonfly was ovipositing on the Obs Dipping Pond.
Sunday 6th
In the Dragonfly Field there were ten Emerald Damselflies, 16 Blue-tailed Damselflies, six Common Blues, four Dainty, single Azure, Red-eyed and, Small Red-eyed Damselflies plus a Common Darter and two Black-tailed Skimmers.
Thursday 3rd
A male Brown Hawker was around the Haven ringing area and six Common Darters were on the Estate.
