Our first Orange-tip of the year fluttered along the Observatory entrance track.

Thursday 27th

Two male Brimstones, five Peacocks, a Green-veined White, and a Small Tortoiseshell were on the Estate.

Tuesday 25th

Another impressive butterfly day provided 20 Peacocks, two Small Tortoiseshells, and our first two Green-veined Whites of the year on RSPB Worth marshes.

Thursday 20th

Two Brimstones and a Comma were on the Green Wall with another of the latter along the Worth track. Five Peacocks were on the Estate along with another Comma, plus our first Small Tortoiseshell and a Red Admiral.

Wednesday 19th

Two more Brimstones in quick succession with singles on the Green Wall and at the Observatory.

Tuesday 18th

Our first Brimstone was along the Green Wall.

Friday 7th

The first day with multiple butterflies as a Peacock was seen on King's Avenue and our first Comma was in The Elms.

Tuesday 4th

Another Peacock was at the Point.

Sunday 2nd

Our first Peacock was on the Estate.
