Though the monitoring of Birds has always been SBBOT’s primary aim there has always been an underlying interest in the non-avian sightings within the Recording Area. This may have started off originally as Butterflies, Moths, and Dragonflies but in recent years has expanded rapidly into Shield Bugs and Bees for instance. As more people came aware of Bumblebees and Solitary Bees this list was created to help detail all the species recorded along with their status in the recording area.
