It looks like the Odonata season is now over. We'll see you again in April for the first emergences. In the mean time, why not plan ahead to come visit us in the summer and see some for yourselves? A total of 32 species of Odonata have been recorded here, more than anywhere else in the UK, and many of which are Nationally Rare, such as Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly, Dainty Damselfly, Red-veined Darter, etc. You can book accommodation to stay on site, just click HERE.

A sole Common Darter was still hanging on in the Jubilee Fields, equalling our latest record from 2018. The next few days are still fairly warm so there's chance yet to break the record.
