Friday 15th

For a while it looked like there would be no sightings of any Odonata this month. However, a brief period of sunshine revealed at least nine Common Darters still hanging on along the edge of the Great Wood on RSPB Worth marshes.

Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly had a good year @Sandwichbirdobs with double figures being seen. Hopefully with the right habitat, they can continue to establish themselves. A single seen in West Kent was intriguing. @BDSdragonflies #Teamdragonfly #UKwildlife

A very active HUME’S LEAF WARBLER found today by our Assistant Warden Jonny, at SBBO. After last nights storms with Thunder and Lightning and Snow showers, it was a nice surprise to add another Phyllosc to the Bay list! ⁦@Sandwichbirdobs⁩
