We will start the walk from the Car Park at the ARC pits (opposite entrance to RSPB Dungeness reserve). After visiting the Hanson Hide overlooking the ARC pits dependent upon weather conditions we may visit the fishing boats near Dungeness Lighthouse for a a brief sea-watch, before proceeding to the RSPB Dungeness Visitor Centre to view Burrows Pit and walk around the Reserve. There will be a lunch-time stop about 12.30pm, with the option of further birding around the Reserve in the afternoon. A wide variety of birds should be found during the day, including late over-wintering wildfowl and spring migrants, as well as resident species.
