Sunday 5th

It might have been very stormy but it remains mild and when ever there is a sunny patch Red Admirals are still around on nectar sources plus there is still the occasional Small White.

This month saw 4,243 moths of 258 species recorded around the Obs! A slow start with the cold and wind following on from April, but numbers skyrocketed once the hot spells and southerly winds set in.
