Wildlife in Close-up

at Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory

Sunday 29th August 2021

Last year we unfortunately had to cancel our annual Open Day due to Covid-19 restrictions. This year we ran a smaller than usual event at the Observatory on the August bank holiday weekend.

So many children's activities and games!

We'd just like to say a huge thank you to all of our brilliant volunteers. From those of you leading guided walks to manning the stalls and ringing room to everyone in the kitchen and to those of you who kindly donated cakes and plants. Also a shout out to the kids from our Wildlife Explorers youth group who created and ran our children's activities for the day.

We hope you enjoy some of our photos from the day below. If you have any of your own you'd like to share with us please email them to info@sbbot.org.uk
