Our Education Team are passionate about engaging young people with nature and providing the opportunity to learn in an outdoor environment. It’s thought that learning outdoors aids mental and physical health, as well as developing a love and appreciation for the outdoors.
We offer several clubs for young people run by Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust, but there are also two groups for young people we run in conjunction with the RSPB.
The aim is to bring nature to life by having fun with lots of hands-on activities.
Our Education Team are also able to arrange visits to schools and universities or arrange for student field trips to the Observatory.
Events are held at the Field Centre unless otherwise stated.
