We are still looking for a volunteer to offer to take up the Treasurers post. The current incumbent is moving out of the area but has prepared plenty of information for any body who can help.
Tuesday 26th
The night time weather is mostly unsuitable still but if you can find a sheltered spot There are good numbers of Winter Moths around as it is mild.
Saturday 16th
With the wind dropping and no rain forecast the trap was back out. Although the minimum did not fall below just above 4°C there were no moths in, or near, the trap. The only living things were two caddis flies.
Friday 8th
The weather remains unsuitable for the trap to survive outside but a non-moth surprise last night was a Western Conifer Seed Bug climbing up the observatory wall.
