DESCRIPTION:Afternoon River Stour birding boat trip\nWednesday 5th August 1.45pm - 4pm Cost £30\n\nSpecial bird watching river trip on the River Runner boat along the River Stour from Sandwich Quay to the point in Pegwell Bay to look for waders and terns on the rising tide. We will especially be counting Common Sandpipers which are seen in large numbers along the Stour mudbanks at this time of year.\nAlthough this trip is sold out\, join the wait list as we plan to run a another trip if there are sufficient numbers interested. We will contact you when we have further details.

Based from the Observatory’s Field Centre\, where we’ve recorded over 1200 different species of moth\, we’ll introduce you to the spectacular beauty and importance of these misunderstood creatures! And the Muffins? Every good event needs a tasty treat! Enjoy a brunch of muffins\, pastries\, fruit\, hot drinks and fruit juice!
