Friday 24th
Species diversity continues to drop leaving just a handful on the wing now until the end of the year. A Small Red-eyed Damselfly on a bush next to the Estate beach today was interesting, perhaps a migrant fresh in?

Tuesday 14th
‘Hawkers’ have started their annual late summer increase with Migrants in particular on the up. A total of 38 were recorded on the Estate this morning plus one Southern too.
Tuesday 7th
Another immature Red-veined Darter, this time along the road by Restharrow Scrape, plus at least five Willow Emerald Damsels in the Elms and gullies, and a superb Southern Migrant Hawker in Waldershare Gully.
