Six Common Darters were on New Downs.

Lovely weather on Worth produced 15 Common Darters.

Wednesday 9th

Six Common Darters were seen along the paths by Restharrow Scrape late morning.

One Common Darter was in the Oasis area.

North Wiltshire Ringing Group ringing control: Sedge Warbler ringed at Sandwich Bay, Kent on the 17th August 2024, controlled by us on Salisbury Plain on the 19th August 2024. 2 days since ringed, 232km movement #birdringing #migration

Have just received confirmation that this moth was indeed a male Isophrictis anthemidella (thanks to det by Patrick Clement). Taken on beach at Sandwich Bay on 17th July 2024. The only site in the UK that the species has been recorded!
