One last Common Darter of the year was on the Green Wall.
Wednesday 10th November
More potential reports of Vagrant Emperors with a possible seen in Waldershare Gully on the 7th and another today on Worth marshes. It is certainly worth keeping an eye on any large dragonfly you see.
Friday 3rd November
At least seven Common Darters were hanging in there on the Estate and one at the Point. Our latest ever record is 1st December so they have a little way to go yet.
Thursday 2nd November
The morning’s walk was livened up by finding a dead Vagrant Emperor near the Whitehouse paddock. This follows swiftly on from the (live) record last month and becomes only the third Sandwich Bay record.
