Wednesday 11th
The first real butterfly day of the season with six Peacocks, five on the Estate and another on the Green Wall. It’s only a few weeks away from the first butterfly transect of the year. If you’re interested in butterflies and surveys i suggest taking a look at the BMS website (HERE) and maybe take on a transect of your own. The data obtained feeds directly into national statistics and helps us know what species have had good or bad years.
