We will start the walk from the Car Park at the ARC pits (opposite entrance to RSPB Dungeness reserve). After visiting the Hanson Hide overlooking the ARC pits dependent upon weather conditions we may visit\u00a0the fishing boats near Dungeness Lighthouse for a a brief sea-watch, before\u00a0\u00a0proceeding to the RSPB Dungeness Visitor Centre to view Burrows Pit and walk around the Reserve. There will be a lunch-time stop about 12.30pm, with the option of further birding around the Reserve until about 3.30pm. A wide variety of birds should be found during the day, including resident and over-wintering sea-birds, waders, wildfowl, herons, raptors and passerines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
