A Red-veined Darter was at Dickson's Corner, the first of the next generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday 28th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There were at least 14 Emerald Damselflies on the Estate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday 26th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Willow Emerald Damselfly was in Big Gully.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 23rd<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The LESSER EMPEROR<\/strong><\/span> was still on Restharrow Scrape along with three Emperors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 22nd<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A LESSER EMPEROR<\/strong><\/span> was on Restharrow Scrape and another on RSPB Worth marshes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday 21st<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Two Southern Hawkers, a Southern Migrant Hawker, and a Willow Emerald Damselfly were logged on the Estate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday 20th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Southern Hawker was in the Oasis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday 17th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Southern Emerald Damselfly was a nice find on the Estate, and follows two sightings in the area this summer. Lets hope this is the start of a new breeding population!<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 16th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Five Southern Migrant Hawkers and 28 Small Red-eyed Damselflies were on the Estate. Eight Brown Hawkers was also a good count.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 15th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Totals on the Estate included one Blue-tailed Damselfly, three Common Blue Damselfly, three Emerald Damselflies, four Black-tailed Skimmers, three Southern Migrant Hawkers, 34 Migrant Hawkers, three Brown Hawkers, 12 Ruddy Darters, 18 Common Darters, and two Emperors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday 12th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Willow Emerald Damselfly was in Little Gully.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday 10th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Three Brown Hawkers were on the Estate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 9th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Willow Emerald Damselfly was on the Estate. This species has been particularly scarce this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 1st<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There were at least 60 Migrant Hawkers in the lee of the wind by The Elms. Ten Black-tailed Skimmers were on Restharrow Scrape and nine Small Red-eyed Damselflies around the Observatory ponds.<\/span><\/p>\n
