The primary aim was to live closer to our two daughters but also (importantly for my hobby!) to be close to the coast.<\/p>\n<p>My wife and I are both retired and have been busy renovating the house (and garden) we moved to in Weddington. We are now in the process of converting some land we purchased next to our property to become a wild flower meadow with a \u201cwet\u201d area to attract wildlife and fauna. We also now look after our grandson 3 days a week which we very much enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>I have been a lifelong birdwatcher and have been very active locally since retiring, concentrating my birding around East and South Kent. Historically, I have been a YOC leader and a RSPB group committee member where I was responsible for leading outings and away weekends.
