Price: £2,090. Single supplement £300.
A donation will be made to Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust from the profits of this trip.
Situated along the Western Ghats in Western India, Goa is much influenced by Portugese culture and has a long list of spectacular birds, many of which are endemic to the region. Sandwich Bird Tours has run four trips here in the early 1990’s and we are proposing to visit again under the leadership of Gary Stewart and our local agent Lloyd Fernandes. We will cover all the main birding areas including the coast, hills and forests of North Goa in order to get a long list of superb birds.
Early booking is essential for us to secure our preferred hotels and flights, as Goa is extremely popular with westerners in winter.
Prices based on a bed and breakfast basis and includes flights and bus to Gatwick. (Meals are cheap in the many restaurants available). Price may rise if we book too late for existing deals. Non-refundable Deposit – £200 payable to J H Van der Dol once we have enough people to run. All passengers must have full insurance.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SANDWICH BIRD TOURS IS RUN BY JOHN VAN DER DOL AND HAS NO CONNECTION WITH SANDWICH BAY BIRD OBSERVATORY TRUST (SBBOT)
