As well as our conservation and monitoring work we aim to entertain and educate our members and the general public. To this end, we hold weekly guided walks, birdwatching classes in the winter evenings, illustrated talks about wildlife near and far and educational courses.

Our activities are open to all. They are designed so that individuals come along to one off talks, walks or classes, but most people soon become regulars.

Members Trips & Holidays. We sometimes organise day trips and longer stays away with a focus on birdwatching and wildlife to raise funds for our charity.
Guided Walks
The field-centre runs a number of interesting guided walks for those wanting to enjoy, birds, bats, dragonflies and other flora and fauna.
Clubs
The trust operates a number of exciting clubs for young people and they offer activities all year round and also in the school holidays.
Lectures
Some evenings during the autumn and winter we run a series of illustrated talks with a wildlife theme from experienced guest speakers.
Moth Nights
Join local experts to identify and discuss the moths recorded the night before around Sandwich Bay.
Ringing
Guided walks, open days, talks, bird ringing, moths, children's activities and refreshments at the SBBOT.

Photo Competition
Enter your wildlife photography and exhibit your entries at our Field Centre. The prints will be judged by exhibition visitors.
